Chief Executive Officer
A thought leader in higher education marketing and enrollment management, Marcelo Parravicini has helped numerous institutions reignite enrollment growth through the alignment of marketing efforts and the reengineering of integrated enrollment operations. In 2014, Marcelo founded Cygnus Education on the premise that ethical, consumer-centric, data-driven, and compliant marketing and enrollment strategies can help higher education institutions achieve their enrollment goals, evolving with the marketing landscape through an evidence-based, analytical approach. Marcelo is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Andrew Milner
Chief Growth Officer
Andrew is a data forward performance marketing leader who has spent his career at the intersection of marketing and technology. Andrew lends his leadership and performance marketing expertise to help clients achieve ambitious enrollment growth goals. Andrew has scaled media campaigns for many of higher education’s largest institutions using the latest advertising technology to augment and increase the effectiveness of his buys. He is currently spearheading the team’s marketing operating system, VEGA, which enables institutions to gain efficiencies in their student acquisition campaigns. Andrew is a graduate of Bloomsburg University.
Angi Becerra, ED.D
Chief Operations Officer
Angi is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of extensive experience in SaaS development, enrollment marketing, admissions, and student success. As the Chief Operating Officer of Cygnus, she brings a wealth of operational expertise to drive growth and enhance client success. Angi has a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and scaling infrastructure within multi-unit organizations, resulting in impressive double- and triple-digit revenue growth in the education sector. In addition to her role as COO, Angi serves as Chief Privacy Officer, where she ensures that Cygnus’s data practices meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and student privacy. She holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Angi is passionate about education and actively contributes as a faculty member, developing innovative strategies to promote accessibility throughout the higher education landscape.

Daniel Rehn
Chief Information & Technology Officer
Dan is a strategic technology leader with over two decades of experience driving digital transformation in education and enterprise environments. At Cygnus, he leads technology strategy and innovation, delivering secure, scalable systems that power VEGA and support institutional growth. His background spans senior IT leadership in edtech, SaaS, and consulting, with expertise in Agile transformations, ERP integrations, and large-scale deployments. A U.S. Navy veteran, Dan brings disciplined, results-driven leadership to complex challenges. He holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and Business from Columbia College and advanced certifications from Villanova University.
Mike Campbell
Director, Product Strategy & Technical Account Management
Mike has worked in higher education performance marketing for over 15 years, primarily leading SaaS strategy and support efforts for Enterprise Accounts. He enjoys building camaraderie with his clients, while guiding them to confidently utilize the software to its fullest potential. Having spearheaded many implementations and integrations throughout his career, Mike is able to draw upon these experiences to provide reliable solutions for his clients. Mike is a graduate of Hofstra University.
Alex van Wert
Sr Director, Product Design & Marketing
Alex is a methodical, empathetic, and evidence-based product designer and marketing professional with over ten years of experience pursuing the mental models of human-computer interaction. Her experience spans stakeholder interviews, agile product prioritization, heuristic analyses, A/B testing, market positioning, and brand management. Alex strives to design with clarity and purpose, creating digital products that target needs. She is the head of design for VEGA, the Marketing Intelligence System serving clients and our internal Cygnus team. Alex is a graduate of Duke University and has a masters degree in Integrated Design & Media from New York University.
David Shelton
Director, Partnership Operations
David is a strategic operations and client success leader with over a decade of experience in project management, SaaS implementation, and partnership development across the education and technology sectors. He focuses on building scalable systems, optimizing cross-functional team performance, and integrating CRM and communication platforms to enhance partner outcomes. His teams have consistently improved efficiency, retention, and revenue through creative, data-informed solutions. He is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington with a B.A. in Telecommunications.
